Currently Zweites Leben is made up of a Father and Son whos love for Japan, Design, Aesthetics, Car Culture and most importantly Cars has led to the creation of this company.

Our story started in 2016 with the purchase of a JZX100 Chaser TRD Sports. Having already had some interest in Japan we decided to finally visit the motherland of our beloved car in 2019. Immediately falling in love with the country, culture, people, landscapes, food and car culture the desire to live here increased by so much that the decision to move was made within a couple of days. 5 years full of stress, doubt, fear, big expenses and struggles later were finally able to fulfill our dream of moving to the arguably best country for car enthusiasts. Our goal is to be a part of the car scene both as individuals and a company, in Japan and world wide.

Using our years of experience gained by working for companies like VW AG, Audi AG, smart Europe GmbH, invenio AG and UEDELHOVEN GMBH & CO. KG we offer affordable Design solutions and related services for everyone. In addition to client based work we will release our own signature parts and bodykits for the most sought after Japanese cars in the near future.

While our focus is on Automotive Design we are confident in other sectors aswell. As evident by our Designer winning a Red Dot Design Award in 2005 for a house hold item called the “Opair”.

The office is located about two hours north of Tokyo, in the picturesque and culturally rich area of Nikko City, Tochigi Prefecture.
